Welcome
Parents and children sign in at the door, and free play straight away.
8:00am
Breakfast
Everybody sits and eats together at the table.
8:30am
Free play, then wash up
Hands washed, potty time, diapers changed, and play!
9:00am
Circle time and learning
Bilingual circle time with the calendar, letters and numbers, art, language, science.
10:00am
Morning snack
Then potty time and wash up again. Gather together to eat a snack.
10:30am
Outside
Walk around the neighborhood, to the park, the field, or playtime on the deck, weather allowing. If not, the activities move indoors: music, dancing, stretching, Simon Says.
12:15pm
Lunch
A teamwork effort to wash up, set the table, and eat all together.
1:00pm
Rest and quiet time
Everyone gathers their assigned cots and blankets to set in their section of the room. Soft lullabies play as they nap.
3:15pm
Afternoon snack
Mats put away, potty time and hands washed first.
4:00pm
Outside again
Or indoors if the weather says no: puzzles, books, music, dancing, creative games.
4:45pm
Pickup, and the handover
Tidy up and gather their belongings to sign off for the day and go home.

Justina maintains all certifications required by the State of Maryland to operate a licensed home daycare. She stays current on all required training and education to ensure a safe, healthy environment for every child in her care.

Background working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) as well as a certified medical assistant (CMA)

Four years at Shady Grove Hospital.

CPR certified

Current, and the one that matters in the first two minutes of a bad afternoon.

First Aid certified

Completed an approved training course on how to give immediate care during a medical emergency.

Certified catechist

Certified by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington, and still teaching at St. Rose of Lima in Gaithersburg.

Full-time care

12 months to 6 years

Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm. Justina and the kids follow a consistent daily routine that aligns with our curriculum and shifts with the seasons, with plenty of time built in for learning, play, meals, and naps.

Part-time care

12 months to 6 years

Set days each week rather than all five, for families who need two or three. Talk to Justina about which days are open, because it depends on who else is here that day.

Great price A Wonderful Experience We are so grateful for the wonderful care Ms. Tina provided for our son. He was always safe, happy, and very well cared for in her home. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, engaged, and thriving. One of the things we appreciated most was how she introduced him to Spanish.
